The Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed the schedule for an ODI tri-series involving Pakistan, Sri Lanka and England, to be played from October 18 to October 31, 2026, across Rawalpindi and Lahore. The tournament forms part of a broader home season that also includes a bilateral T20I and Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The tri-series will open with Pakistan facing Sri Lanka at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on October 18. The first three matches of the tournament will be played in Rawalpindi before all three teams move to Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium for the remaining league fixtures and the final.

Each team will face the other two sides twice during the league stage before the top two finishers meet in the final. The format gives all three teams extended 50-over match practice ahead of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2027.
Part of a Wider Home Season
The tri-series follows a separate three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, scheduled for October 9, 11 and 13 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka will arrive in Pakistan first for that series before England joins for the ODI tri-series later in the month.
Once the tri-series concludes, Sri Lanka will stay on for a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6, followed by a two-match Test series against Pakistan. The first Test will be played in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, with the second Test at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from November 17 to 21, as part of the ongoing World Test Championship cycle.
This marks the second time in as many years that Pakistan has hosted an ODI tri-series, following a similar tournament involving New Zealand and South Africa ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
