Samsung has started rolling out the sixth beta of One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series, bringing another round of bug fixes and stability improvements as the Android 17-based software moves closer to its stable release.
The update is available for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra. It is currently rolling out in several beta markets, including India, Germany, Poland, the UK and South Korea.
One UI 9 Beta 6 Is an 851MB Update
The latest beta update is around 851MB in size and carries a firmware version ending in ZZHE in some markets. It also includes the August 5, 2026 security patch.
Unlike some earlier One UI beta releases, Beta 6 does not appear to introduce major new features. Samsung is instead focusing on fixing issues reported by Galaxy S26 beta testers and improving the overall stability of the software.
What Does One UI 9 Beta 6 Fix?
According to the reported changelog, Samsung has addressed several display and camera-related problems.
The update improves a display issue affecting the Now Brief widget and also addresses a separate display problem on the Home screen. Samsung has also fixed a camera widget display issue that could occur under specific conditions.
Another important fix concerns Expert RAW. Samsung has addressed an issue where images could be saved differently at certain focal lengths when shooting in 24MP mode.
Beta 6 also adds a setting that allows users to disable the long-press action for AI Select on the Edge Panel handle, helping prevent accidental triggers.

The arrival of Beta 6 suggests Samsung is continuing to polish One UI 9 before its wider stable rollout.
